In August, 2009 APOTBC offered antenatal and other delivery services including counseling on Family Planning to over 300 needy inhabitants of the Sra community in suhum Kraboa Coaltar District in the Eastern Region, Ghana. In partnership with AusAID and INA (Australia), APOTBC has constructed a Health Centre in the Sra community for antennal, Family Planning, HIV/AIDS prevention, Malaria Control and other health cases that might crop up in the community. APOTBC has also purchased a motorbike and ambulance to take care of referral and emergency cases that may arise, as well as hospital equipment such as beds, scales resuscitators, drip stands and other office equipment for both the clinic and nurses quarters in the Sra health centre.
